What’s the best meal Anthony Zhao has ever had?
I’ve had so many; but last time I went to New York, I had a meal at [Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star] Jean Georges, and it’s one I’ll never forget. It was a nine-course tasting menu with a six-piece dessert tasting. My wife [Crystal] and I had two different dinner menus where the dishes had the same main ingredient but were prepared differently. We both had lobster — mine was sous-vide and hers was seared. There was this unbelievable egg steamed with caviar and vodka foam. It was so good. Not only is the food there incredible, but the service is superb. The staff is so knowledgeable about all the ingredients and every last detail.
