What item does Ariane Daguin always travel with?
I actually have a Laguiole, the knife, in the inside pocket of my suitcase. I have one in there all the time, so that when I get to the destination I can take it out and put it in my handbag. Because you never know when you're going to need a piece of cheese that needs to be cut or a bottle of wine that needs to be opened — you need your Laguiole knife and bottle opener with you.
I make sure that I have something to put around my neck on the plane. There is nothing worse than the ventilation on the plane. This is the one place where you can catch a cold. So if you protect yourself there, then you have a bit of chance to arrive in good shape. So I always have either a scarf or a sweater that goes up on my neck.
