What was the best trip Cristie Kerr has ever taken?
We kind of took our honeymoon a couple years after we got married, just because we’re so busy. We went to the Amalfi Coast and we stayed in Ravello at the Hotel Caruso, which is an Orient-Express hotel. We went to Pompeii and went around Capri and we probably had one of the top three meals of our lives, coming back from Capri. In between Capri and Positano, where we got on the boat, they turned the corner into like a little private cove where you couldn’t even see any of the boats until you turned around the rock. There was a little kid and even a younger kid in a little boat that came to pick us up. We went to this restaurant that was kind of built into the cliff that had its own fresh seafood tanks. I think the name of the bay was La Conca del Sogno, which means the Bay of Dreams, I believe, in Italian. We couldn’t even tell you the name of the restaurant, but it had yellow umbrellas on a large patio that basically overlooked this private little marina. The rocks came down to the ocean from the Amalfi Coast — and the ocean was just so blue.
