Australian chef Curtis Stone is a quadruple threat in the culinary world — he cooks; he hosts TV shows; he has his own line of kitchen utensils; and he owns a restaurant. The Melbourne native began his professional cooking career in London, where he eventually worked his way up to head chef at the venerable Quo Vadis. But he’s most famous for his television career. Stone has appeared on numerous shows, including Today, The Biggest Loser and America’s Next Great Restaurant. He was also a candidate on Celebrity Apprentice 3, competed on Iron Chef America and hosted TLC’s Take Home Chef. In 2011, Stone became the host of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. He also hosted the culinary reality show Around the World in 80 Plates in 2012. Calling Los Angeles home, the Aussie opened his latest restaurant, Maude, in February 2014. It’s a menu-less eatery that focuses on one ingredient a month to drive its courses.
