Chef David Myers is chef and owner of several restaurants around the world, including Comme Ça in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and Pizzeria Ortica in Costa Mesa, Calif. His first restaurant, Sona, received critical acclaim in Los Angeles until it closed in 2010. Before launching David Myers Group that same year, Myers worked for both Charlie Trotter and Daniel Boulud, as well as chef Gerard Boyer at Les Crayères in France. Myers opened two restaurants in Tokyo in late 2010: SOLA by David Myers, a high-end patisserie, and the California-inspired David Myers Café. Myers opened a second SOLA in Isetan Shinjuku in 2011, and two more outposts in Tokyo in 2012. His most recent project, Hinoki & The Bird, opened in L.A. in 2013.
