What does David Myers look for when he’s dining out during his travels?

When I’m traveling internationally, I look for something that’s authentic to the culture and has an incredible reputation for food and service. So when in Barcelona, Spain, I want to find the best tapas places like Tapas 24. In New York, I tend to go out and see the newest, hottest restaurants with up-and-coming chefs who are really pushing the envelope. I want to check out chefs who have a lot of drive and want to do something significant. Sometimes I just want to go to my favorite neighborhood place. I like to get a glass of wine or a quick bite. It doesn’t always have to be some big, programmed meal.
