What are Fernando Beteta’s favorite restaurants?

I love seafood, so whenever I go near the coast, I always look for the seafood places. In San Francisco, I always go to Hog Island Oysters — a must. If I’m in Greece or Italy, I usually find a local place serving fresh-caught fish. Seafood can be explained that it doesn’t travel as well, so you best eat it if you’re in Asia or Japan or wherever it’s local. It’ll be better than any chef can ever import.
