What’s the best wine Fernando Beteta has ever had?
Thinking back, my “aha” wine was a 1949 Musigny, a red burgundy from Comte Georges de Vogüe. I was probably 24 or 25, and a friend had it in his cellar. I can still taste it today. Old wine, great producer, classic vintage — things you just can’t erase; you remember what you were wearing that day, that kind of thing.
