What are Jason Wagner’s favorite cities to visit?
Montreal is a favorite city of mine. It’s a great food town. It has great culture. It’s kind of like going to Europe without leaving the continent. There’s a pretty vibrant wine scene there. I got engaged there, so there’s a little bit of sentimental value, too.
I also love New Orleans for a lot of the same reasons. The food there is incredible. There are really interesting things going on with wine. There’s really just a fun atmosphere. The city just makes you want to relax and have a good time.
I also enjoy Siem Reap, Cambodia. It’s a beautiful place, very peaceful. There’s great sightseeing obviously with Angkor Wat and all the symbols around there. The people are amazing. I really love that.
I could count New York as a place. That’s where I’ve lived for the last 10 years, but it’s an amazing place to go. There’s no lack of amazing places to eat, drink, sightsee, all that — probably my favorite place in the world.
I could also add Mexico City to that list. I really love Mexico City a lot — not too much for the wine, but for food and culture.
