What are Jimmy Yeager's favorite restaurants?

I like Oyamel Cocina Mexicana, Zaytinya and Jaleo in Washington D.C., and Jaleo and China Poblano in Las Vegas — all by José Andrés I love the way José thinks about food and then brings it to the table — lots and lots of small plates of exciting dishes, big explosions of flavors and unique combinations and presentations.

Mario Batali's restaurants always deliver. I have loved Babbo since it opened because of the perfect ambiance and execution of challenging menu items. I like Casa Mono for its authentic Spanish tapas and quaint European street side feel, and Del Posto for its grandeur, great menu, wine list and for the overall feeling diners get that they are someplace important.

I like Comstock Saloon in San Francisco. It's a throwback to the Barbary Coast days and is a real bar with an authentic menu of bar foods. The beef shank and bone marrow potpie with arugula salad is sublime.
