What does Joe Bastianich love most about hotels?
I think great hotel service is when it’s seamless, intelligent, friendly and joyful from the first impact to the last. We know what it takes behind the scenes to do that. It’s an incredible amount of coordination and communication among the staff. You can have nice people and a beautiful property with great amenities, but unless you have the intellectual approach — where they’re treating you like the intelligent human being that you are — that’s what really makes a difference.
