What wine shops does John Ragan visit abroad?

In Paris, the most recognizable and biggest wine shop — possibly best in the overarching sense — is called Lavinia. They’ve got an incredible selection of just about anything you can imagine. They’ve got the high-end stuff, but also the great small producers that we don’t see in America. So if you want to try and track something down, it’s a great place to do it. There’s more of a little mom-and-pop place that I really love called Les Caprices de l’Instant. There are plenty of others like that, but that’s the kind of place that you love to go to because it will have all the tiny producers you just won’t see in America.
