Marcia Kilgore

Regularly referred to as a serial entrepreneur, Marcia Kilgore is the woman who started Bliss Spas, FitFlop footwear and the Soap & Glory cosmetic and skincare line. Born in the small Canadian town Outlook, Saskatchewan, Kilgore moved to New York City in 1987. There, in her quest to treat her own acne-prone skin, she launched Bliss Spa — a worldwide brand with a popular product line. Kilgore sold Bliss in 1999 but kept her hands in the beauty business with the creation of Soap & Glory in 2006. Now the Londoner is a key player in the fashion world, too. Her growing FitFlop business — a line of stylish shoes that gives wearers a workout while they walk — has taken off in Asia, Europe and the United States.
