What does Miranda Whitcomb Pontes always travel with?
I have a pair of boots that I bought in New York when I first started working there in the ’90s — on sale, half-price Tod’s. They are driving-sole boots, but they come all the way up my calf. I can wear them in the sun or snow. I can wear them everywhere. I always bring my necklace with my son’s thumbprint on it, especially if he’s not with me. And I always carry a big bag of some sort. My Susan Sherrick bag is one of my favorites — she does amazing work with leather. I love bringing a satchel that I can carry around town and fill with fun things.
