What does Miranda Whitcomb Pontes have in her refrigerator?
I don’t have much — seriously! It is so funny. I have almond milk, organic eggs, cheese, and some beer in case someone comes over and wants one, but I don’t drink it. There are usually pears and strawberries. There’s always quality ice cream in the freezer. That’s about it. [My restaurant] Burger Up is my commissary. Usually I order a kale salad and add avocado and beets topped with salmon. Or I take uncooked beef burger patties and all the fixings, and I cook at home as if I made a home-cooked meal. Also, just about every morning I go over to say hello to the staff and snag a French press coffee.
