What does Paul McGee look for in a hotel?

I think the main thing about choosing a hotel is the location itself and whether it is a nice central home base for us. We usually stay with friends in San Francisco and New York, but the few times that we’ve stayed in a hotel in San Francisco, it’s been in the Union Square or Nob Hill areas. But some of the amenities we look for there are the location and how the neighborhood feels. Also stuff like Wi-Fi and usually 24-hour room service come in handy when you’ve been hitting up bars all night long.
