What are Philip Krajeck’s favorite shops to visit when he travels?
In the past, I was really into sneakers. So, anywhere that had cool fresh kicks, I wanted to check out. There’s a place on the Lower East Side called Reed Space NYC, and Jeff Staple owns it. It’s pretty cool. They always have the latest sneakers. There’s a place in Williamsburg [Brooklyn] called Hickoree’s Floor Two. I bought a really rad Pendleton plaid shirt that is timeless. I also bought a pair of twill chinos [made in] Japan. It’s super expensive, but it’s also the kind of store that you get things that are really durable and that are going to last a long time.
