Sara Moulton

Chef, Author, TV Personality

New York

Not everyone can claim the title of Julia Child’s protégé, but Sara Moulton can. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Moulton spent seven years in the restaurant world, during which she co-founded the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance. But it wasn’t for her; the New York native taught at Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School (now known as the Institute of Culinary Education), which led her to television. She worked behind the scenes on Julia Child and More Company, developing a friendship with the culinary icon. After another behind-the-scenes gig at Good Morning America, Moulton became the host of her own Food Network shows, Cooking Live and Sara’s Secrets. She’s now host of public television’s Sara’s Weeknight Meals, has published three cookbooks and released Sara’s Kitchen iPhone app.
