What are Tom Douglas' favorite restaurants?
In the little town of Fleurie in central France is a little restaurant called Le Cep, like the mushroom. Le Cep is one of my all-time favorites. If I want to get a big old over-portioned meal, I like L’Ami Louis in Paris, and there’s a hot little new restaurant that one of my waiters opened in Paris called Verjus that’s getting tons of press. It’s delicious. It’s American food in Paris, which was sorely needed. And in San Francisco, I still go to Boulevard all the time. In L.A., I go to Osteria Mozza.
