What are Trina Turk's favorite cities to visit?

Last year we went to Istanbul, which was really amazing just because it’s an old city and a new city at the same time. It’s half in Asia, half in Europe. The food was interesting and the mix of people there was interesting.
I also love Tokyo just because my mom’s Japanese, so I have an affinity for Japan in the first place. But the thing about Tokyo is that it’s so crazy and so crowded and so insane, and then you walk around the corner and there will be this tiny little garden space that’s amazingly beautiful and serene in the midst of chaos. It’s a crazy, crowded city, and you come upon these things that are aesthetically so beautiful and amazing and kind of serene in the midst of everything that you normally associate with overpopulated Tokyo.
