Activities
Many people come to Key West to do one thing: nothing. This beautiful Florida hot spot serves up pristine beaches, immaculate ocean views and a dash of spectacle for good measure (especially during Spring Break). South Beach is a favorite sand patch for locals, Dog Beach is the place to visit with Fido, and snorkeling off the pier at Higg's Beach may actually get you to see some fish. While it might be tempting to spend a day snoozing and securing a good tan, there are plenty of Key West activities in and around the coastline that let you enjoy surf and turf at the same time.

Key West Sebago has an extensive menu of activities to fill up your days including dolphin charters, parasailing, scuba diving and even kayaking. Embrace your inner tree hugger with a selection of earth-friendly ocean tours from Sea Savvy (www.seasavvy.com), JavaCat Charters (201 William St., Key West, 305-292-3188), or Key West Kayak Fishing & Eco Tours (www.keyskayakfishing.com). Land lovers can rent bicycles, mopeds and scooters at Moped Hospital (www.mopedhospital) for the day or the weekend and take them to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park for a BBQ, or play a round at the Key West Golf Club (6450 College Road, Key West, 305-294-5232; www.keywestgolf.com). Free yourself from tourist traps like Ripley's Believe it or Not museum and go on an original Ghost Tour (www.hauntedtours.com) instead to hear all about the island's haunted past.

After that, there are tons of nighttime options whether you're looking for a quiet romantic sail for two or a catamaran ride with some friends. All of the Key West cruise and charter companies offer sunset trips and nightly booze cruises where beer, champagne and wine flows freely as you sail around the coast, so the hardest part will be picking one. Try Fury's sunset sail with live music, Islescapes' gourmet dinner cruises, or a champagne sunset sail through Go To the Keys. For a less touristy but still tipsy trip in Key West, visit Mallory Square at sundown to toast with the locals, or shop for arts and crafts at the nightly Sunset Celebration.

Curious about what to do tomorrow? Simply sleep, eat and repeat.

As this Travel Channel clip reveals, Sanibel Island's beaches are so covered with shells that you'll regularly see people bending over in search of them -- a sight the locals have dubbed the "Sanibel Stoop."
