Pool
The Mediterranean-inspired setting of the Bellagio pools and courtyards is reason enough to book a room at the hotel. Surrounded by lush citrus trees, manicured flower gardens and spouting fountains, the pools embrace the European elegance of the Bellagio resort with mosaic tiles along the floor of the pools and modern, plush chaise lounges. Located directly south of the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art and Café Gelato, the pools are sheltered from the bustle of the Strip by verdant greenery and cream-hued umbrellas (a Godsend against the fierce desert sun). Bellagio keeps its pools open (and heated) year-round—a refreshing oasis in the summer (with lovely little misters all around) and a toasty treat during the chillier, winter months.

But, this wouldn't be Las Vegas if there were only one or two pools onsite; Bellagio boasts five pool areas, each complete with distinct courtyards, private cabanas that can be rented for the day and poolside snack service. The Garden Vista Café sits only steps away for those who need a change of scenery, but want to keep an eye on their chaise. If you're really in need of some R+R, treat yourself to a poolside massage. Or imbibe at the Pool Bar where bartenders serve fancy concoctions using fresh juices, nectars, purees and coulis. The Bellagio Mojito is particularly tasty with its mix of fresh blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and a hint of mint. Ah, if only every day could be so bellisimo.
