EXCALIBUR
Pool
Sometimes the perfect vacation is as simple as relaxing poolside, basking in the warm sun with a mojito and a good book. Excalibur's pools, located on the Casino Level adjacent to Tower II, can put you in a tranquil mood, or if you feel like celebrating, can help you get the party started.
Enjoy an uncrowded swim now that Excalibur's pool recently doubled in size. After you've cooled off in one of the four heated pools, two waterfalls or two water slides (open seasonally), soak in the rays on the sun deck or grab a bite to eat at Drenched, Excalibur's poolside restaurant that offers up good eats and refreshing drinks. If you want to unwind in a way that doesn't require getting sloshed, wade in Excalibur's secluded relaxation pool.
Throw your own pool party in the shade by renting a cabana that comfortably accommodates five people. These aren't mere huts for changing into your bikini; cabanas come with a plasma TV, two rafts to float in the pool, a refrigerator stocked with fruit juice and water, a ceiling fan, as well as towel and ice service.
Ten cabanas for families with children are available for PG-rated fun, and seven adult cabanas with a designated pool area can be rented just in case the party gets wild (you must be 16 or older to swim here). And the poolside party will get wild when cocktail servers bring drink after drink from the full-service bar while you lounge in shaded comfort. If you get the munchies, call room service and have food delivered right to your cabana. And when it gets dark, park yourself in front of the fire pits for a bonfire.
Cabana rentals are subject to change, but generally cost $60 Monday to Thursday, $75 on Friday and Sunday, and $95 on Saturday. Note that payment for cabanas must be provided by 10 a.m. on the day of the reservation. Now, pack that swimsuit and get ready for a long day at the pool.
