Shows
Vegas may be known for gambling, but it also knows how to put on one heck of a show. The city is brimming with talented performers, from the svelte swinging acrobats of Cirque du Soleil to the blue-faced drum bangers of Blue Man Group. If you'd rather see a boldfaced name, you don't have to look far to find top performers like Elton John or Barry Manilow crooning on stage. And there's always a full roster of magic shows, comedy gigs, musical theater performances, and sporting events (including boxing, naturally) to keep you occupied in between slot-machine marathons and the breakfast buffet.
Casino Attractions
Speaking of slot machines, did we mention Las Vegas has gambling—lots of it? We haven't done the math, but we're pretty sure there are at least a few thousands ways to lose your shirt while in Sin City. For starters, there's poker, black jack, roulettes, baccarat...well, you get the idea. But if you'd like to actually return home with some money left in your wallet, may we recommend a few more fiscally responsible pastimes? You may be surprised to find out Vegas actually has a few—gasp!—museums. But of course these are Vegas museums, so one dedicated to the life of Liberace shouldn't be too much of a surprise.
Wine and Dining
After a day of gambling and sightseeing, replace those expended calories by hitting up a buffet or a celebrity restaurant like Todd English's Olives. By this point, you'll realize that the odds of having a crazy-good time in Las Vegas are pretty darn good.

Activities
Las Vegas is a city of epic personality. Where else can you be serenaded by Bette Midler, bet on blackjack, shop at Manolo Blahnik, ride a roller coaster through New York New York, stand in awe of the artwork at the Arts Factory, gawk at the, er, "art" at the Liberace Museum, dine at the hands of Bobby Flay, and then get hitched on a dime by an Elvis impersonator?
