CASINO ATTRACTIONS

This is it. This is why you came to Vegas—to look Lady Luck straight in the face, give her a big kiss on the mouth and win big. Whether you've got only a few bucks or a $100,000 to blow, the casinos of Sin City are more than eager to help you part with a little green.

Las Vegas teems with casino attractions. For would-be card sharks there's a plethora of local blackjack and poker tourneys, in fact, you can play every day of the week if you want. But if you'd rather watch from the sidelines, you can always try to get seats to big shows like the World Series of Poker or the World Poker Tour. If you're more handy with a dauber than a deck, many of the off-strip casinos offer bingo (and a complimentary doughnut) every few hours. Can't manage to tear yourself away from your favorite team while on vacay? Head to one of the sports books on the Strip to grab a beer, a plush seat and to bet on your team to win it all. If you are packing a lot of coin and want some serious play, head up to one of the swanky high-roller rooms where the stakes are high, and the jackpots are even higher.

But at some point, you're gonna have to eat (who could bet wisely on an empty stomach?). Though many casinos have free-flowing booze, you'll be hard-pressed to finagle something a little more substantial, which is why every joint in town is stock-piled with enough buffets, restaurants and snack bars to make your growling stomach take notice. The eats are a sure bet—you won't need a smooch from Lady Luck for a delicious meal.
