Treasure Island Sirens
You can spend your Las Vegas honeymoon fighting over going to the Pussycat Dolls Lounge for him, or saving your catcalls for Thunder Down Under for her. Or you can sail on over to the front entrance of the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino to see the Sirens of TI, a show that doesn't discriminate (and still has the sex and gore you're looking for—well, sort of).
Every night at 7 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. swarthy pirates and swashbuckling sex kittens storm Sirens' Cove, a large pirate ship in front of the casino. The scantily clad Sirens of TI, choreographed by the Emmy-award winning Kenny Ortega, seduce the beefy pirates through song, dance and some gratuitous writhing.
When the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino first opened in 1993, it played up the pirate theme and won over visiting families. In 2003, the hotel moved away from its original concept and upgraded the amenities from kid-approved to adult-friendlier—trading in the arcade and kiddie pools for a hot tub, nightclub and bar. Buccaneer Bay became Sirens' Cove and the belly buttons and biceps really came out. You need to be a guest at the Treasure Island Hotel for VIP seating, but every land-lubber walking along the Strip is welcome onto Sirens' Cove to watch the battle of the ship wrecked sexes for no charge. It's over-the-top Vegas at its finest, and whether you're there for the midriffs, the explosions or simply the free entertainment, it's worth watching as Siren shows go.
