Built in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, The Venetian takes the idea of a mega-resort to a new level. This sprawling hotel and casino is a popular Las Vegas attraction, and features two towers comprising more than 4,000 suites, over 1.9 million-square-feet of meeting space, 80 shops in its Grand Canal Shoppes and 20 restaurants from celebrated chefs such as Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck and Emeril Lagasse. The newest suites are found in the Venezia Tower, which has a separate check-in area and offers access to the private Venezia Garden Pool Deck.
The Venetian also includes one of the best spas in Las Vegas: the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, which is not only the biggest spa in Las Vegas, but in all of North America. (It has an impressive 100 treatment rooms.) The casino is also massive. The 120,000-square-foot Doge’s Palace Casino has a slew of mega-jackpot machines, table games and sports betting rooms. All in all, The Venetian is more like a city than a hotel. So how did this grand hotel come about? Read up on the history of The Venetian and its world-famous attractions.
