The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino (www.venetian.com) takes great pride in being one of Las Vegas' few all-suite hotels on the sizzling Strip. The fact that it tastefully replicates nearly every major sight in Venice isn't a bad claim-to-fame either. Located smack dab in the center of the strip, the Venetian is all about the details—aged stone facades, hand-painted frescos, authentic accordion players strolling through the Grand Canal Shoppes—and a measure of Italian luxury rarely seen outside of Europe.

Step inside and you'll feel no less awed by the soaring marble pillars and expansive promenades of the lobby. Shopping is a regal affair in the Grand Canal Shoppes with everything from Godiva to Dooney & Bourke and Movado. It's impossible to steer off-course with 11 fine dining restaurants, and an equal number of celeb chefs behind the stoves. See what the BAM! is all about at Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse. Or visit Tao, where you're sure to spy an A-lister (or at least somebody who thinks they deserve to be). The casino has entrances from all angles, so you won't find yourself running in circles to find your hotel room.

Speaking of hotel rooms, even basic suites feature perks like a sunken living room and two 32" plasma TVs. All of the rooms in the hotel are large (even by Vegas standards), and the bathrooms keep the trend going with double sinks, deep soaking tubs, glass-enclosed showers and some of the fluffiest towels on the Strip. The décor may have your head spinning if you're not a fan of patterns, but you'll get used to it. If you're in the market for even more pampering, upgrade to a Concierge Luxury Suite, and enjoy access to your very own personal concierge team.

The Venetian 's Canyon Ranch SpaClub offers a 139,000-square-foot fitness and spa facility where you can blow off some steam and relax after a long day of shopping and sightseeing in Sin City. Aerobics, kickboxing classes, and even rock climbing on a 40-foot indoor wall is at your disposal. End the day in peaceful serenity with an aromatherapy or seaweed body treatment, followed by a soothing swim atop the Venetian's five-acre rooftop deck complete with pools, hot tubs and private cabanas. When in Venice, do as the Venetians do.
