Pool
In a desert landscape like Las Vegas, relief from the heat is a necessity. In Wynn's case, that relief comes in the form of two gargantuan pools. The main pool at Wynn Las Vegas, also known as the Sunset pool, is actually two large oval bodies of water connected by a narrow passage that's perfect for swimming laps. But exercise isn't on the minds of most guests when they hit this beautifully designed paradise. You're staying at the Wynn, which means it's time for complete and utter relaxation. And for some, that equals topless bathing. Set behind the Sunset pool, the European pool is an adult-only playground where a DJ spins tunes and bikini tops are optional.
A private elevator provides the only access to the Sunset and European pool, and once you arrive on the pool grounds you may never want to leave the manicured gardens. Two Jacuzzis serve the main deck, which is overflowing with complimentary chairs, chaise lounges fresh towels and bottles of water on ice. If you want to wade out on a floating lily pad or snooze on a Euro bed, it'll cost you a rental fee. When you get hungry, no need to get up. Waitresses will bring food and drink straight to your seat. (Those who need a brief change of scenery can also eat at the Sunset Grill adjacent to the pool).
Just like everything at Wynn Las Vegas, the Cabanas are several notches above the ordinary. Instead of traditional tents, these solid structures include plasma TVs, marble-topped bars, overhead fans, a refrigerator with assorted fruits, beverages and other snacks, and a private patio—everything but a working kitchen and personal chef (though a full room service menu is available at the Cabanas).
Tower Suite guests also have access to two private pools near the Tower Suite lobby, with a live DJ spinning hip-hop, dance, rock, and other high-energy tunes poolside as well as outdoor blackjack, weather permitting. Another bonus for booking at the Towers is food service from Tableau restaurant, which features elegant American nouveau-style cuisine. Nothing says class quite like a chilled shellfish platter served at a poolside cabana.
