A ski village's colorful centerpiece

84 Rooms / 26 Suites

Telluride is divided into two main areas: the ski village and the actual town of Telluride. Both are connected via a gondola and should you want to go from one to the other, it will take about 15 minutes to do so. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel is located in the ski village, and sits practically at the base of the lift, which makes it a prime location during the winter months.

The newly renovated hotel is designed with lots of colorful artwork displayed throughout the public areas. Suites have kitchenettes and are equipped with artisan teas, and balconies overlook Mountain Village in the ski area. There are also fireplaces to solidify the cabin feel without actually having to rough it.

And before you’re ready to grab a drink or enjoy a meal, utilize the ski valet, which makes things ultra convenient for when you need to store your skis. After those are put away, enjoy interesting cocktails such as the Bloody Mary topped with a hamburger at SMAK Bar, which is located on the hotel’s main floor. And in between meals and events, take a seat in the regal library on the first floor, which is complete with a mini business center, leather chairs for relaxing, and books for reading.
