Room service at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Blantyre is available 24 hours a day. You’re not likely to go hungry though, thanks to the various amenity baskets you’ll receive in your room that come filled with cheeses, crackers and cookies. Each room also has a small mini-fridge where you can stash snacks.
To call it room service is a grave understatement, as the Blantyre staff is well-versed in serving all of the locations on our 117 acres. Guests may choose to dine in their rooms, as well as more peculiar locations such as the warming hut, circle of stones, hammock or tree swing. Picnics are a specialty to enjoy anywhere on the grounds or for a day-trip, packed with love by our chefs, with anything from sandwiches to a full tasting menu. The full breakfast menu is also available for room service, and a menu of comfort food and snacks may be ordered all day. Late-night snacks include light bites such as fruit and cheese, salad or a plate of cookies and brownies.
