Each room at Blantyre has its own personality, which means you’ll be treated to new décor and ambience each time you stay. If you want to be close to the restaurant, music room and salon — and just upstairs from the front desk and staff — choose a room in the Main House. The eight rooms on the second level are each uniquely designed and offer different views of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s grounds. If total relaxation is what you seek, try the Carriage House. It’s connected to the Potting Shed Spa and fitness center, and the first-floor rooms each have their own private landscaped patio. The Carriage House rooms are also just steps away from the outdoor heated pool. For those craving complete privacy, the cottages offer a more secluded location in the woods, while still being just a short walk to the Main House. The cottages are also adjacent to the tennis courts, so you can be as active or as lazy as you like. Bottom line: Your purpose for visiting the luxury hotel will dictate which room suites you best.
All our rooms are magnificent and all are different, but in the main house the Paterson Suite with its exquisite flower prints, large sitting area, two bathrooms and views of the grounds and distant hills is spectacular. The Ice House (it takes its name from its original use) provides guests with a suite of rooms and a separate guest room on the lower level.
