The Alluvian Hotel’s Giardina’s restaurant has been a Greenwood landmark since opening its doors in 1936. Expect to sample some of the best steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine in the area while enjoying a slice of Mississippi Delta history. The restaurant’s large main dining room opens onto a beautiful courtyard while 14 private booths provide a more intimate setting. The full-service bar offers a wide variety of premium liquors, wines and liqueurs. Be sure to sample some Southern favorites, such as the fried green tomatoes topped with lumped crabmeat and drizzled with warm comeback sauce (a spicy Mississippi specialty).

The Alluvian’s fourth-floor Terrace Room serves a full Southern-style breakfast buffet every morning. If the weather is nice, grab a newspaper and a cup of coffee and enjoy your breakfast on the large expansive outdoor terrace.
