A popular low-key spot near Vanderbilt University, Tin Angel is an intimate restaurant with lots of charm. The exterior of this corner building features red awnings and window boxes. A round fireplace with seating all around is located in the reception/bar area. Original arched brick walls, brick flooring, a tin stamped ceiling, and unique lighting all add to the cozy atmosphere. A few of the tasty choices on the menu include angel hair pasta with fresh parmesan and sun-dried tomatoes; chicken breast with pine nut mousse; and Tortilla Cats, a catfish fillet lightly fried in a tortilla crust with black beans, rice, and salsa.
