The Dining Room at Langdon Hall offers the quintessential elegant country estate experience, and if you’re looking impress a group of friends, family or colleagues, then book one of the four private dining rooms at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant for dinner, lunch, afternoon tea or for a cocktail reception.

Off the main lobby of the hotel, The Red Room has a wood-burning fireplace, a 19th-century antique dining table that seats 14 and French doors that open up onto a private conservatory. This intimate room is often booked for bridal and baby showers.

Colonel Langdon’s Room is also off the main lobby and can accommodate up to 22 guests in the traditional space. A long antique dining table, wood-burning fireplace and large windows looking out over the front lawn add to the charm of this room.

You can also book the luxury Cambridge restaurant's main dining room for your private party between 30 and 50 seated guests (45 for afternoon tea). This space is sometimes reserved as a cocktail reception area before a sit-down event in The Orchard Room, the largest venue. Here, you can host up to 72 guests for a seated dinner or up to 90 for a cocktail reception (or even a casual barbecue). The Orchard Room has floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a view of apple trees and manicured lawns, and it opens up to a furnished outdoor terrace.
