The average cost per plate for a wedding at Willard InterContinental is $195 to $285. The dark wood Willard Room, shining Crystal Room and massive Ballroom are the three best locations for weddings at the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel. The signature is the Willard Room, a 3,120-square-foot space that can seat up to 325 for a theater-style event or 220 at banquet tables. It’s decked out in dark wood and splayed with marble columns, golden chandeliers and soft lighting.
Next door to the Willard Room is the Crystal Room, a 2,560-square-foot space decorated in pastels, rich drapery and, as the name suggests, crystal chandeliers. The space can seat up to 210 for a banquet-style event or hold 250 for a cocktail reception. The Crystal and Willard rooms are occasionally rented together, with dinner held in one and the wedding reception held in the other. Downstairs is the D.C. hotel’s Ballroom, a massive space painted with landscapes at the second-story level of its cavernous ceilings. The room includes a foyer that can hold up to 150 for a cocktail reception, while the ballroom itself can seat 450 for a banquet or hold 600 for a cocktail reception in its 4,736 square feet.
To host a wedding at the Willard, it will cost on average about $195 to $285 per person.
