Westend Bistro has a bar, and it’s a very lively place. This Washington, D.C. restaurant is located just blocks from D.C.’s business district, the Golden Triangle, making it an excellent place for after-work dinner or drinks. During happy hour, it is especially hopping with $6 glasses of wine, $3 beers, and half-priced appetizers. Whenever you visit the bar, you will find a good selection of wines and beers, but the housemade cocktails are spectacular. Try the Heated Debate, which is made with Avión Silver tequila, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, and a hint of jalapeño. Another interesting concoction from Westend Bistro’s bar is the Apple Manhattan, which is made with Angel’s Envy bourbon, sweet vermouth, aromatic bitters, and spiced apple cider reduction.
