Chef/owner Paul Hathaway accommodates late and early diners alike at his classic neighborhood tavern by offering a choice between inexpensive hearty sandwich plates (grilled chicken with Gruyère cheese and onion jam, for example) and more refined New American entrées, such as pan-roasted cod with sautéed potatoes. The single large room gets boisterous as the night progresses, in part a tribute to the smartly chosen and reasonably priced wine list. Unfortunately, there are no desserts on the menu.
