Thalia and Stephen Loffredo opened Zoe in the heart of Soho more than 15 years ago, and they have managed to maintain its chic yet comfortable American bistro vibe and inspired cooking. The focal point of the restaurant is the open kitchen with its imported Italian wood-burning oven, which, along with original tile work and pastel walls, creates a rustic-chic atmosphere. The menu offers creative, sophisticated American standards painted with global accents and seasonal flourishes and an extensive, heavily American wine list. There is also a terrific cocktail list and a tempting menu of bar snacks.
