Forbes Travel Guide is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to oversee and manage our Salesforce instance. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can grasp both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. This person will serve as the primary administrator for design, configuration, functionality and end-user support of our Salesforce instance. The individual will be responsible for optimizing and customizing Salesforce as needed to promote growth and development, as well as handle all day-to-day administrative functions to ensure smooth operation across the company. The successful candidate must have the ability to solve problems, and act as a Salesforce "guru" to all those who use it.

The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact. Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Maintenance and Platform Enhancements

  • Own management of the Forbes Travel Guide Salesforce instance, serving as an internal resource for requirements definition through configuration, deployment and training to promote adoption of all departments interacting with Salesforce.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality. Translate approved solutions into actionable deliverables, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
  • Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritize, design and facilitate successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
  • Manage the integration of applications connected to Salesforce.com, including but not limited to Forbes Travel Guide proprietary Partner Site, Conga, Zapier, Mailchimp, others. Make suggestions on additional applications to better improve Salesforce workflow.
  • Manage incoming support requests from front-line users; including daily administrative/maintenance requests and larger analytical projects.
  • Manage change requests, clarify requirements, perform critical system updates, configure new features and enhancements, and manage reporting, data hygiene, and deliverables/documentation.
  • Customize, configure and maintain, including (but not limited to): data model and standard/custom objects, automation, Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, record types, fields, page layouts, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within Salesforce.com.
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, forecasting license needs, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules, security.
  • Establish and implement change control and best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, sandbox usage, data integrity, etc.
  • Evaluate, scope, execute updates and enhancements within expected timeframe.
  • Develop and implement training for end-users; ensure goals for system usage are clearly defined and reported regularly.

Data Integrity & Analytics

  • Assist in creating and distributing dashboards and reports based on leadership’s needs, targets, and goal metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity; utilize duplicate and matching rule tools in Salesforce to prevent and manage duplicates
  • Manage data imports, database de-duping and clean-up
  • Data mapping and utilization of native Salesforce tools and/or ETL or IPaaS tools to perform data migration

Skills Required

Manager, Service & Quality Development

Forbes Travel Guide seeks a Manager, Service & Quality Development. This individual will have a successful luxury hospitality background with some facilitation, presenting and/or training experience alongside demonstrated strengths in relationship building, organization and attention to detail in the luxury market. Duties for this position include:

  • Delivery of training both in person and online (75%)
  • Edit, proofread, write and collaborate on custom standards projects and products (20%)
  • Enhance and create additional Forbes Travel Guide Learning & Development verticals products and content (5%)

The person in this role will be responsible for gathering all information required to conduct and complete reports for assigned evaluations. The independent contractor is compensated per evaluation executed. Though the ideal candidate will be based in mainland China or Macau, and the position involves extensive travel.

Candidates for the evaluator position cannot maintain a concurrent role in the hospitality industry or one with a direct conflict of interest while working with Forbes Travel Guide.

The Executive Trainer is a dynamic individual who combines a successful and in‐depth training background with demonstrated strengths in hospitality, public speaking, relationship building and delivery of an exceptional learning and development product for Forbes Travel Guide.
