Forbes Travel Guide's professional team of evaluators travels the world to assess hotels, restaurants and spas for our coveted annual Star Ratings and provides feedback to industry clients on a regular basis.

This position will be responsible for gathering all information required to conduct and complete reports for assigned evaluations. The independent contractor is compensated per evaluation executed. Though the ideal candidate will be based in the United States, the independent contractor position involves extensive worldwide travel. Proximity to a major international airport is necessary.

Executive Trainer (U.S.)

The Executive Trainer is a dynamic individual who combines a successful and in‐depth training background with demonstrated strengths in hospitality, public speaking, relationship building and delivery of an exceptional learning and development product for Forbes Travel Guide. This role requires executing contracted hotel, restaurant and spa training to properties around the globe; a considerable working knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards and Star‐Rated properties; acting as a representative and ambassador of Forbes Travel Guide at all times; and enhancing and creating additional resources for the Learning and Development training library. The Executive Trainer will also assist with creating programs for clients, as well as continued enhancement of Learning and Development offerings.

  • T&E Expense Review: Review and process travel and entertainment expenses in Expensify (expense management software) for domestic and international employees. Ensure the claims for reimbursement are within company guidelines and correctly submitted/allocated to correct categories and cost codes.
  • Invoicing: Generate customer invoices in an accurate and timely manner in our accounting system, Microsoft Business Central.
