The Davenport Grand Hotel, Autograph Collection

Spokane's bold grand hotel
VERIFIED LUXURY
In the center of downtown Spokane, The Davenport Grand Hotel, Autograph Collection stands as one of the tallest buildings in the city at 17 stories. The white concrete structure sits across the Spokane River from Riverfront Park. Large black letters in minimal, mid-century modern font boldly spell out “Grand Hotel” vertically down the center of the building.

Connected by a sky bridge to the Spokane Convention Center and INB Performing Arts Center, The Davenport Grand caters to business travelers, offering contemporary convenience in a vibrant and open setting.

The hotel’s lobby is an airy, mostly white space with pops of chocolate-brown and sparkling gilded accents. The sleek, contemporary look carries throughout the 716 rooms and two floors of meeting space (which span a whopping 63,000 square feet and include four ballrooms).

With features such as motion sensors for heating, LED lights, low-flow toilets and recycling programs, The Grand is also LEED Silver-certified.

Things to Know
• And while this property does not feature a spa or pool, you are invited to take a hotel-provided Lexus town car to sister property The Historic Davenport Hotel; room-signing privileges are provided across all Davenport properties.

• All rooms feature roomy marble showers, though only the suites have full soaking bathtubs.

• In addition to the Presidential Suite, guests wanting to go big can opt for the Governor’s Suite, which covers about 1,500 square feet and boasts two stunning stone fireplaces.
The Rooms
• The Grand opted to nix queen-sized beds throughout the entire Spokane hotel. Instead, there are only king beds, even in double rooms, which remain spacious at 475 square feet.

• Bold rooms are dressed in black, white and grays with pops of vibrant reds.

• Each guest room offers unique conveniences like electronic “do not disturb” notices and housekeeping buttons, electronic blackout shades and plenty of outlets in key locations, including built-in USB cord outlets.

• Amenities include LED flat-screen smart TVs and L’Occitane bath products in pump dispensers, a practice that supports the hotel’s green efforts.
The Restaurants
• The Grand Restaurant & Lounge is the hotel’s signature restaurant providing American breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as room service.

• Table 13 features dark tones, low lights, gray slate and wood accents, and offers a sleek, urban dining atmosphere. It serves tapas at community tables and features a whiskey bar, too.

• The Grand Terrace Bar is located above the main restaurant and the alfresco space is open seasonally. Expect well-made cocktails, local wines and views of Riverfront Park.
