Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa

South Beach style in laid-back Vero Beach
The geometric, art deco façade of Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa stands out in the casual Vero Beach — but in a good way. Gloria and Emilio Estefan, the celebrity owners of this beachfront haven, have infused Miami sophistication and Cuban flair into even the smallest details of the sleek boutique resort.

Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Costa d’Este is made up of two five-story, white towers fronted by a neon blue fountain, a courtyard dazzling in white lights, and a tranquil patio framed in natural bamboo. Professional and impeccably dressed staff welcomes you to the lobby, where you are encouraged to start relaxing immediately. The host of amenities is impressive, given the smaller size of the resort, and includes a hip steakhouse, an oceanfront pool and a luxury spa.
Our Inspector's Highlights
• The luxurious hotel features a newly renovated pool area with cool-to-the-touch porcelain tile decking, an infinity-edge pool and a large hot tub overlooking an exquisite piece of coastline. There are plenty of chaise lounges and dining tables, and comfortable love seats and sofas surround a fire pit.

• If you decide to hit the beach, you can still occupy the service of the pool concierge, who will cater to your whims in the form of free sunscreen, chilled drinks and more.

• The fitness center hosts Zumba classes, as well as sunrise yoga on the beach.

• Activities are endless at this beachfront hotel. Bicycles, kayaks and kayaking trips, surfing and boating can be easily arranged.

• The sleek spa is filled with a subtle scent of incense and offers a variety of detox body wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures and signature massages.
Things to Know
• Pets are welcome with a host of amenities, including treats, water bowls, beds and a directory of doggie day care facilities, veterinary clinics and groomers. Owners will like that no pet fees are required.

• The luxury hotel offers two Tesla chargers and a universal charger in its north parking lot.
The Rooms
• Guest rooms highlight a modern, Miami-chic design with low-profile custom furniture, accents in teak, a chocolate-brown and white color palette, and large, spa-like limestone bathrooms.

• Rooms are available in two doubles or kings and all the beds are dressed in Egyptian cotton.

• Each room has a balcony offering a chance to view the spectacular sunrises here.

• Ocean Front Cabana Kings are located on the ground floor and open up to private beachfront gardens from a wood deck furnished with woven chaise lounges.
The Restaurant
• The Wave Kitchen & Bar got its name from its curved walls, which were designed to mimic the gently rolling surf of the Atlantic Ocean it overlooks.

• The refined, candle-lit restaurant serves a sophisticated menu of Cuban classics, fresh Florida seafood and steaks prepared with locally grown produce in an open kitchen.

• The Cuban influence is the star of the creative menu with offerings such as café con leche or French toast Cubana made from hot-off-the-griddle Cuban bread. Oprah Winfrey’s favorite dish is the frijoles negros (black beans).

• The menu can be ordered and served at the poolside Cabana Bar. This alfresco bar with its graphic Cuban tile and polished quartz bar top offers one of the largest selections of Florida craft beers in the state.
