Fish Out of Water

Fresh local fish with a fine Emerald Coast view
Editor's Note: Fish Out of Water is closed for renovations. The restaurant will reopen in spring 2018.

There are only a handful of restaurants along the Emerald Coast that can lay claim to offering Gulf-front dining. Fewer still offer solid cuisine. Fish Out of Water satisfies on both counts.

Located within WaterColor Inn, an elegant Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star beachfront boutique hotel, Fish Out of Water is a casually elegant coastal-themed restaurant. It puts local and regional seafood center stage on its menu, but the Black Angus filet mignon and Gulf black grouper have just as much star power — as does the wine list.

The attentive service and welcoming ambiance are both on par with the stunning Gulf view. Whether you are looking for a private dining celebration, a night on the town with friends or a romantic supper for two, Fish Out of Water will deliver.
