If you’re looking for creative and authentic Tuscan cuisine from central Italy, Terrazza in Galaxy Hotel is the perfect choice for you. You’ll enjoy dinners composed of time-honored recipes like the intensely flavorful cacciucco alla livornese (Tuscan stew of lobster, fish, squid, octopus, clams and mussels), a classic Italian countryside dish served for two. Lighter options to share are also available, such as the antipasti plates or San Daniele prosciutto with cantaloupe.

Terrazza also appeals to wine lovers with a Wine Market concept that allows you to try a range of quality wines before selecting the right bottle to complement your meal. All of the Wine Market offerings are recommended by Galaxy’s renowned master of wine, Jeannie Cho Lee.

After dinner at Terrazza, head to the nearby Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge, the first such establishment in Asia, to unwind while choosing among 400 of the most refined international whiskies in a Scottish-tinged setting.
Our Inspector's Highlights
• You’ll know you’ve reached Terrazza when you reach the space decorated with earth-tone walls and Italian mosaics. An open exhibition kitchen with a matching bronze screen and stone countertop takes the main stage in this dramatic setting.

• During spring and summer, Terrazza also opens its small but lovely alfresco setting where you can enjoy grilled and barbecue specialties.

• For a truly special occasion, the Glass Room located next to the open terrace is a wonderful choice. Surrounded by lush gardens, the Glass Room includes a cozy lounge area and holds a large round table that can easily accommodate eight people.

• Most of the dishes at Terrazza are made à la minute like tortellini alla caprese with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, prosciutto, olie oil and basil or the whole sea bream in a salt crust for two, which is finished in gueridon service style at your table.
Things to Know
• The dress code for Terrazza, the signature Italian restaurant in Macau’s Galaxy Hotel, can best be described as smart casual. Since Galaxy Hotel in particular and the Cotai Strip in general attract a well-heeled clientele from Asia and abroad, expect to see men in suits or dress shirts and slacks while women will be wearing the latest fashions.

• Terrazza in Galaxy Hotel is open six days a week from 6 to 11 p.m., closing every Sunday. The signature dinner-only restaurant attracts couples and families who want to sit, relax and enjoy a memorable evening with authentic Tuscan fare suitable for an Italian king or queen.

• Although walk-in diners are very welcome at Terrazza, it’s still a good idea to book a table at the Tuscan-inspired restaurant in advance, especially during weekends and busy holiday seasons. If you’re staying at any of Galaxy Macau's hotels, a simple call to your concierge is the easiest way to make a reservation.

• Whether for a family meal, a romantic date or a smart-but-relaxed business dinner, Terrazza restaurant is best enjoyed when you have a couple of hours to indulge. We think it’s fun to linger by the open kitchen and watch the chefs preparing their creative Italian fare.
