Le Spa

A haven for modern Parisian pampering
Place Vendôme is home to some of the most storied jewelry brands in the world and just a short walk from this beacon of luxury is another: Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, a luxury hotel brimming with posh amenities and exquisite contemporary style.

It’s no surprise, then, the hotel has an equally impressive spa located beneath its stunning lobby. Here travelers can find both relaxation and seriously effective beauty treatments by Crème de la Mer, as well as a nail suite, fitness center and a top-of-the-line salon.
Our Inspector's Highlights
  • At just under 2,700 square feet, Le Spa Paris is a spacious haven from the harried atmosphere of the city.
  • American architect Ed Tuttle exquisitely designed the sleek spot using natural materials such as limestone, mahogany and granite. With a warm color palette, gold and onyx mosaics and a feature water wall, Le Spa is both soothing to the eye and to the ear.
  • Park Hyatt partnered with the super-luxurious French skincare brand Crème de la Mer to provide some of the most effective treatments around. Created by an aerospace physicist, Crème de la Mer is known for using renewing natural ingredients found in the sea.
  • During the 60- to 90-minute massages, an exclusive verbena and lemongrass oil is used — it was designed by French perfumer Blaise Mautin specifically for the spa.
  • A travel theme is weaved throughout Suite 101, where you can lie down in a chaise lounge to have your hair washed while looking at travel souvenirs and photos from far-flung locations. The salon offers cut, color and styling services, including the option to have your hair styled on the pretty private terrace.
Things to Know
  • To add to the relaxing aesthetic, the scent, lighting and music were all created specifically for the spa.
  • Following each of the Crème de la Mer services, you’ll be invited to unwind with a cup of Mariage Frères lime tea.
  • After all massages, fruit juice by Alain Millat is served.
The Treatments
  • Facials featuring Crème de la Mer products last an indulgent 75 minutes and vary based on your needs.
  • Three facials on the menu use pure diamond powder, but for the most luxurious service, opt for the Miracle Broth Facial — a 75-minute indulgence that employs sea kelp.
  • With Le Spa’s collection of eight different massages, you will likely find one that meets your needs.
  • The Place Vendôme spa’s salon services include men’s and women’s waxing, as well as indulgent manicures and pedicures by Kure Bazaar.
The Facilities
  • The Paris spa features four treatment rooms, one of which is designed for couples.
  • A steam room, sauna and whirlpool bath, situated next to the relaxation area, can be enjoyed before or after a treatment.
  • The fitness facility by TechnoGym feature state-of-the-art cardio equipment as well as dumbbells and a cable-motion gym system. For those desiring a personal trainer, one is available on request.
  • Suite 101 is a hair salon created by John Nollet in conjunction with Park Hyatt and Louis Vuitton. This hot spot is the renowned stylist’s only Parisian outpost and appointments are coveted.
