Hotel Casa Fuster

Barcelona’s modernist boutique hotel
VERIFIED LUXURY

Lluis Domènech i Montaner built Hotel Casa Fuster in 1908. While Domènech may not be as well known as his modernist contemporary Antoni Gaudí, the Catalan architect boasts an impressive pedigree: Several of his works have been named World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

Combining a modernist atmosphere, distinctive architecture and a mix of art deco and contemporary furnishings, Hotel Casa Fuster's lobby has black mosaic flooring and fluted pillars. Dark colors and subtle, modern designs help create peaceful guest rooms. You need to visit the hotel — even if it’s just for a drink on the rooftop terrace. Soak up the a panoramic view of Barcelona with small bites and a cocktail in hand.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Every Thursday night, Café Vienés transforms into an exclusive Jazz Club. Full of locals and tourists, it is a place not be missed. Listen to music from the likes of the Yoshida Brothers and Conal Fowkes.

  • The hotel’s rooftop Terraza Blue View offers the best vistas of Passeig de Gràcia. When the sun comes out on a clear blue day, you can see the Mediterranean Sea as you enjoy a cocktail and a dip in the pool.
  • Hotel Casa Fuster's facade offers a stunning example of modernist architecture from these parts. The interiors are equally beautiful.
