Jumeirah Capri Palace

Italian island beauty focused on art and wellness
VERIFIED LUXURY

Visit Capri Palace Jumeirah, the stunning whitewashed resort in the town of Anacapri, for quality restaurants, luxurious accommodations, intriguing contemporary art and a wellness-centric spa.

Art plays a key role at Capri Palace Jumeirah. Find unique original works from the likes of artists Keith Haring, Giorgio de Chirico and Arnaldo Pomodoro throughout the resort, as well as in Bar degli Artisti, which boasts a solid gin collection.

When you work up an appetite, enjoy meals at the property’s five restaurants and bars, many featuring stunning views of the sea and sky and outdoor dining options. Later, lounge at the pool or take advantage of the modern fitness center. And pop into the spa if you’re in need of relaxation or some cosmetic enhancements — its signature treatment is Leg School Therapy, a three-step process to help boost circulation and improve metabolism.

To cap off a visit, book a private helicopter, speed boat or chauffeur to take you to and from the airport.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Perched on cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Italy’s Bay of Naples, Il Riccio serves an array of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner. Chef Salvatore Elefante makes sure the gorgeous seaside spot serves cuisine just as impressive as the view.
  • Visit the wellness spa for treatments that go beyond relaxation and focus on your overall health. This includes leg treatments to promote blood flow, hydrating facials, nutrition consultation, massage and beauty rituals. Afterward, enjoy the indoor-outdoor soaking pool and a hydrotherapy circuit.
  • Bask in the sun or under the shade of an umbrella at the property's large alfresco pool. The space was designed by Italian artist Velasco Vitali and includes a unique and colorful underwater mosaic.
  • L'Olivo serves as the property’s crowning jewel, thanks to executive chef Andrea Migliaccio’s Mediterranean-inspired fare. Order the tasting menu to really understand the talented chef’s vision. And if you want to further your dining experience, book a seat at the exclusive L'Olivo Undiscovered, held in the wine cellar.
  • The hotel’s art collection, dubbed The White Museum, is scattered throughout so that you can discover and dissect them independently. Highlights include the colorful Diptych by Massimo Kaufmann and Elmo by Mimmo Paladino.

The Rooms

  • The 68 rooms, including 19 suites, all pay homage to 20th-century design. Choose from four main categories of stays — the simple classic, the Mediterranean-themed superior suites, elegant deluxe rooms and multi-space suites.
  • The classic double garden view suite offers the best view, which includes nearby Mount Solaro and the greenery surrounding the Capri hotel. Soothing cream hues mixed with terracotta floors and chocolate brown add to the serenity of the space.
  • Book the double deluxe suite with a private pool and garden for an intimate and relaxing vacation. The ivory-colored space encompasses two rooms, and features a lush garden, soaking tub and canopied king-sized bed. Dip into the hexagonal pool in the morning, noon and night, and dry off in the sun on your reserved outdoor lounge beds.
  • See Capri from a terrace in the deluxe double sea view suite. As the name suggests, the view features the sparkling Mediterranean Sea and the gardens below. Indulge in the deep soaking tub and then wrap up in the hotel's plush bathrobes as you take in the sea breeze.
