- Standouts in the hotel’s art collection include Scottish painter Alison Watt’s massive acrylic depicting fabric folds, located right at the entrance, and Lava Thomas' tambourine installation, which hangs from the lobby ceiling in an homage to activists everywhere. Sign up for the hotel’s guests-only art tour that runs Thursday to Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. — it ends with a HALL Wines tasting in Ellie’s. If you can’t make those times, visit the front desk and request an informational sheet with photos, titles and artists of each piece in the hotel, so you can take your own self-guided tour through the building.
- Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge, perched on the second floor and accessed by stairs in the lobby, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The restaurant is inspired by owner Craig Hall’s late mother, Ellie Hall, and its menu takes inspiration from Napa Valley, offering elegant coastal and farm-to-table dishes like sweet corn and marjoram ravioli and salt-grilled branzino with cucumber salad and Aleppo chili. The well-curated wine list includes several labels from HALL Wines, alongside selections from Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne. Spencer Finch’s constellation-like light installation runs across the length of the dining room, and a terrace provides alfresco dining with a view of the Texas Sculpture Walk.
- HALL Arts Hotel’s Sit & Stay Program welcomes guests and their dogs to check in for a luxurious vacation. Dogs can accompany their owners and will receive a dog bed and a goodie bag of branded swag, like a dog bowl, bandana, doggie bag keychain, toys and treats. Walking services are also available and may be arranged with the “Experience Curator” (a concierge) in the lobby.
- The small rooftop pool is great for lap swimming, and the hotel features an impressive 2,900-square-foot fitness center with Matrix strength and cardio equipment, TRX modular suspension training and Peloton cycling machines. And while there isn’t a designated spa, the hotel has partnered with a local spa to offer in-room treatments to those who book a deluxe room or suite.

- The HALL Arts Hotel is just across the street from the Winspear Opera House, known for its intimate performances and exceptional acoustics. This architectural masterpiece is a modern interpretation of a traditional opera house, with 2,200 seats arranged in a horseshoe shape.
- One block from the Dallas hotel, Moody Performance Hall hosts a wide range of events, from musical and theatrical shows to ballet and other dance performances. Ellie’s offers a deliciously succinct pre-show three-course dinner for you to enjoy before attending a performance at Moody Performance Hall or the Winspear Opera House.
- Take a five-minute walk to the 5.2-acre Klyde Warren Park, a great destination for pet owners. The rectangular green space, which sits over the Woodall Rogers Freeway, is an important community gathering hub for the city and hosts daily programming, from yoga classes to live music to outdoor films.
- Across the street from the park is the Dallas Museum of Art, which features more than 25,000 works of art ranging from ancient to modern times.
