Forbes Travel Guide performs independent, incognito inspections of all hotels we rate. This is what we paid when we stayed at this hotel.

Our Inspector's Highlights

The New York hotel is just across the street from world-famous Central Park and just steps from Lincoln Center, home to the New York City Ballet, New York City Philharmonic, New York City Orchestra and Juilliard School.
You don’t even have to leave this luxury Manhattan hotel to find a Five-Star restaurant. Jean Georges, headed up by the legendary chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, offers some of the best French cuisine in the world.
Whether you need the house car to take you to the New York City Ballet or someone to take Fido on a walk, the concierge at Trump New York hotel will take care of virtually every need you have.
Kids get the royal treatment during their stay. Your little ones can sip creative concoctions, enjoy sweet treats and even glamp in their own personal tent within the guest room while gazing down at Central Park.
At Trump New York, dogs under 25 pounds can join you in your suite, with an additional $125 cleaning fee. Your dog will be pampered with all the goods like bones, biscuits and, of course, bottled water — they may not want to leave.

Things to Know

The Restaurants

Vongerichten’s eponymous Five-Star restaurant serves some of the best French food on this side of the Atlantic. You’re certain to find something you’ll love amid the tasting menu options as well as a prix fixe menu.
Unique dishes, such as foie gras brulee and Parmesan-crusted organic chicken, make Jean Georges a Manhattan foodie mecca.
Nougatine, the more casual dining venue, also doubles as the hotel’s only bar. With the cream tiled floor and bright lighting, the restaurant feels open and modern.
Nougatine is a casual yet sophisticated indoor-outdoor venue overlooking Central Park. The restaurant’s exhibition kitchen serves Jean-Georges’ signature and seasonal dishes.
