Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center

Philadelphia’s high-tech skyscraper
VERIFIED LUXURY

Crowning the 1,121-foot, 60-story Comcast Technology Center, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center towers above the rest as North America’s highest hotel. Occupying the top 12 floors of Philadelphia’s tallest building, the property opens up to stellar views of the City of Brotherly Love’s most iconic landmarks.

Architect Norman Foster and artistic director Jeff Leatham designed a space that is both modern and sleek while remaining warm and comfortable. They softened this urban hotel by subtly bringing the outside in with stunning florals and the strategic use of windows and mirrors that reflect back the blue sky and invite sunlight to flow naturally through the space. Plus, there’s an incredible infinity pool that “spills” out into the clouds.

As a resident of the new Comcast center, Four Seasons proudly ushers you into the future with next-generation technology, including the fastest Wi-Fi in the country, Peloton bikes in the fitness center and an X1 video platform that uses voice recognition and carries a vast library of on-demand movies and TV shows.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center’s 57th-floor health and wellness center is heavenly with a cutting-edge gym, a picturesque pool and a serene seven-room spa. If you feel a calm wash over you when entering the facility, it might be due to the 700 pounds of crystals embedded into the space.
  • If your taste buds usually lead the way, they certainly won’t steer you wrong at this luxury hotel. On the ground floor, James Beard Award-winning (and Philly-based) chef Greg Vernick serves up modern seafood at Vernick Fish, while his longtime mentor Jean-Georges Vongerichten makes his Philadelphia debut with an eponymous restaurant and bar on the 59th and 60th floors.
  • Don’t miss a morning swim in the 57th-floor infinity pool. Reserved exclusively for guests of the hotel, the tranquil space features massive floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the sunrise over the skyline.
  • In the heart of Center City, the property is well-located for those coming on business who also want to get a feel for Philadelphia. Within walking distance are some of the area’s most popular museums, restaurants, bars and landmarks, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Independence Hall.
  • Soak up incredible panoramas in nearly every corner, from the top-floor lobby to every guest room.

Things to Know

  • The 57th-floor gym goes beyond your basic ellipticals and weight stations — you’ll find state-of-the-art Peloton bikes, TRX bands and a Hoist motion cage. But if you want to work out like a local while you’re here, go for a run along the Schuylkill River Trail just five blocks away, and follow it to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where you can reenact the famous Rocky climb up the steps.
  • A select number of rooms offer deep-soaking tubs, complete with neck rests. If unwinding in the tub and taking in the view from your floor-to-ceiling windows is on your wish list (which we think it should be), be sure to request one of these coveted accommodations.
  • If you’re looking for a casual breakfast or lunch spot, look no further than Vernick Coffee Bar on the second level of Comcast Technology Center. Dishes include some of chef Greg Vernick’s favorite items that didn’t make it onto the menu at Vernick Fish, as well as fresh pastries, soups and sandwiches.
  • The Four Seasons App is a game changer. Not only can you book spa appointments or order room service, it also allows you to tune into the audio feed for any programming being broadcast on the televisions in the fitness center, restaurants or bars throughout the Philadelphia hotel, meaning you never have to miss a second of the big game.

The Rooms

  • Beginning on level 48, each of the 180 rooms and 39 suites affords spectacular floor-to-ceiling views. Premier Landmark Rooms have expansive vistas of the museum district, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Boathouse Row; Grand Cityscape Rooms look out over South Philadelphia and the Delaware River; and Skyline Corner Suites provide dazzling panoramas of the skyline.
  • All contemporary accommodations at this luxury hotel are all equipped with complimentary Comcast technology for internet and entertainment, including the lightning-fast Wi-Fi and X1 video experience, a combination of voice-command-recognizing remotes, streaming services and a gratis library of more than 50,000 movies and shows.
  • Once you discover “My Bar” — Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia’s minibar area stocked with a Nespresso machine, cocktail fixings, local libations and delicious snacks — you might just want to stay in for the night. Place an order for room service, mix up a drink and enjoy.
  • Smart controls allow you to easily adjust the lighting, curtains and even turn on the “do not disturb” sign from bed.
  • The gray marble bathroom comes with excellent Guerlain toiletries and spacious showers.
